Part 11: Zoom Loom Yarn Explorations

We continue our exploration of yarn swatches woven on our Zoom Loom.

Knit One Crochet Too Ty-Dy wool, 100% wool, color 3272, a variegated red/pink/purple. It’s always fun to see how the different colors in variegated yarns weave.  We used this yarn in a different colorway as the last layer  in squares for our tablet case .

Artyarns Rhapsody Glitter Light, 85% Silk/15% Kid Mohair/Lurex, color 10044. This yarn with its subtle colors and bit of glitz (click on the link to enlarge the picture for a better view) would be wonderful for any kind of dressy accessory.

Natural Fiber Producers sent three shades of their Superfine Luxury Earth Treasures, a blend of 84% Huacaya/10% Suri/6% wool, in Brick Red, Deep Purple, and Blueberry. All of them are fabulous with subtle but saturated hues.  They are against-the-skin soft, but would also make a great vest.
