Part 17: Zoom Loom Yarn Explorations

We’re reaching the end of the lovely, lovely yarns we’ve been sampling on the Zoom Loom.

Manos del Uruguay Manos Silk Blend, a merino silk blend in sport weight. We love this yarn. It is soft and squishy. The color is amazing. It looks unassuming from a distance, but when you get up close, you see hints of various colors in there and it is truly beautiful. It is soft enough and elegant enough for any evening accessories or baby goodies.

Red Barn Yarn Salem, a merino/silk worsted weight yarn, is fluffy with some sheen due to the silk ply, so it has a hint of a pattern in it. This, too, would make great baby trinkets, or warm winter bundling accessories.

Swans Island Natural Colors Collection organic wool,  worsted weight.
Classy, organic, and lovely, what more could you ask for in a yarn!?  The rich color wove up wonderfully and would be a soft warm comfort in any project next to the skin.

Unicorn Books and Crafts Opal, a superwash wool/polyamide sock yarn. With its interesting color changes, this yarn would be appropriate for embellishments such as flowers.
