We’re finding our fingers itching to weave on our Zoom Looms with all of these exciting yarns. The possibilities are mind boggling.
Below: The Yarns of Rhichard Devrieze Peppino (merino wool), fingering weight. As with most of the variegated yarns with quick color changes, this yarn makes a really fun plaid effect. Great colors!
Below: Universal Yarn Rozetti Polaris (acrylic/wool/payette), DK weight. The little sparkle of sequins in this yarn create a festive mood. Surprisingly, we had no problem weaving this swatch–the sequins threaded easily through the needle eye. We’re thinking sassy bodice or little evening jacket in this yarn.
Below: Pagewood Farm Swagger Light, a worsted weight merino wool. This is a lofty yarn that fulls like a dream. We can think of so many uses for this fabric: blanket, shawl, capelet (we’re seeing a lot of these lately), vest. The softly changing colors are so appealing.
